Privacy Policy

How Sales Hello collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website or use our partner platform.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Who we are

Sales Hello (“Sales Hello”, “we”, “us” or “our”) runs an affiliate and influencer marketing network that connects brands (“advertisers”) with publishers and creators (“partners”). This policy covers our website at saleshello.com (the “Website”) and our partner platform at publisher.saleshello.com (the “Platform”).

For the personal information described here, Sales Hello is the controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@saleshello.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address, company or website, the area you are interested in and your message.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Platform account: your name, email address, password, account type (publisher or influencer), the websites and social profiles you promote on, details about your audience and niche, and, for advertisers, company and billing details.
  • Payout details: the bank or payment account details we need to pay commissions, and tax information where the law requires it.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the Platform.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: when you visit the Website, our hosting provider’s servers record your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you request, the referring page and the date and time.
  • Platform activity: sign-ins, settings changes and the tracking links you create.

Tracking and conversion data

When someone clicks a partner’s tracking link, we record a click identifier, the time, IP address, browser details, the referring page and the link that was clicked. If the click leads to a sale or other agreed action, the advertiser reports details such as an order reference, order value, commission and status. We use this to credit the right partner, calculate commissions and detect fraud. Advertisers do not send us shoppers’ names or payment card details.

Information from others

We receive conversion confirmations and reversals from advertisers, payout confirmations from payment providers, and we may review a partner’s public websites and social profiles when assessing an application.

How we use information

We use personal information for the purposes below. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis is shown in brackets.

  • Answering enquiries sent through the contact form or by email (our legitimate interest in responding, or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract).
  • Creating and running your Platform account, including approving partners for programs (performance of our contract with you).
  • Tracking clicks and conversions and calculating commissions (performance of our contracts with partners and advertisers; for shoppers who click a link, our legitimate interest in attributing sales accurately).
  • Paying partners and invoicing advertisers, and keeping tax and accounting records (performance of contract and legal obligation).
  • Preventing fraud and keeping the network secure, including spotting fake clicks, cookie stuffing and other prohibited traffic (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
  • Sending our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link).
  • Improving the Website and Platform (legitimate interests).
  • Meeting legal requirements and enforcing our Terms of Service (legal obligation and legitimate interests).

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Within the programs you join. Advertisers see the profile, websites and performance of partners who apply to or join their programs. Partners see reports on their own clicks and conversions, not the identity of shoppers.
  • Service providers who work for us under contract, including our hosting provider (Hostinger), email delivery services, payment service providers and content delivery networks.
  • Third-party resources on the Website. A small number of pages load a font file from Google Fonts and animated icons from Lordicon. These services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests the files.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sales Hello, our users or others.
  • A buyer or successor if Sales Hello is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep information

  • Contact form messages: up to 24 months after our last exchange.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Account information: while your account is open, and up to 24 months after it closes.
  • Payment, invoice and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years.
  • Click and conversion data: as long as needed for reporting, commission reconciliation and fraud investigations, usually up to 36 months.
  • Server logs: a short period set by our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including use based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

EEA and UK residents can also complain to their local data protection authority, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

US residents, including California residents, have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete and correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To make a request, email privacy@saleshello.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We respond within one month, or within 45 days where US state law applies.

Cookies

The Website does not set cookies when you browse it. The Platform uses cookies to keep you signed in. Our Cookie Policy explains this and how to control cookies.

Security

We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and hashed passwords, and we limit access to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your Platform password private and tell us at privacy@saleshello.com if you think your account has been compromised.

Children

The Website and Platform are for businesses and adults. Platform accounts are only available to people aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

The Website and Platform link to advertisers’ and partners’ websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will also let Platform account holders know by email or through the Platform.
